Haisst! Sorry for my little unpleasant mind. I was just reading about an old man living at the home for the aged for a couple of years. He has lots of plans, in case he died, but no one listens to him. His wife passed away a decade ago, and his children never bothered to visit him even on special days. Only the nurses, workers are his visitors in his room. I feel really sad and almost cried while reading his story. I was wondering why the children never remembered to visit him. Are they living far from that home? Or are they still alive? He mentioned that the last time he saw his youngest son was when he was 50 years old, and now he is 82 years old and wishing that before he died, he wanted to see his children. I prayed that this old man's simple wish would be granted. And I wish the children will read such article in that news and their hearts will be touched to do what is the right thing to do.

Looking back on a day as this news hit the top, I was searching while I can which led me to one of what I found. It was in YouTube actually, about her life. Living in a house without electricity with the most of her life, in a nipa hut made of wood and how she practiced herself doing a cat walk in a "pilapil" (rice paddy) to joining oratorical contests, pageants, scholar and became a cum laude at one of prestigious school in PI. How was that? Okay, it made me cry especially on the scene of "Wish Ko Lang" video of her. Hemmm.. :-) Now, am speechless again. Makes me wanna see that video back (and cry again?). Ha! ;-)

As I opened my computer lately in the morning, I was stunned by this news. It was not actually in my mind and neither heard from close someone or even not that close (stranger, maybe) that Miss Universe 2010 pageant was last night. I was busy with my other priority and besides watching that long live competition is not one of the priorities last night though I like to. It could be in a rank of "come what may" . :-) Aright, the title seems it is just the beginning way of getting into connection huh! I was not motivated to write my thoughts lately about the events and still not currently. Ha! ;-) Okay, it is an expression of how my thoughts turned out. And am happy about it. I was doing some research about one of the top five contestant, the 4th runner-up Miss Universe 2010, who is Miss Philippines-Universe -- Miss Venus Raj. One of the hot controversial person currently as why she is in the 4th runner-up. She actually garnered the third place in swimsuit and one of the top rated online. As mostly said, it is on the question and answer portion which from my point of view, did not answer the question logically. Ooh well, what if she did not have biggest mistake yet? Aww.. to be in safe, I will just smile. :-) For me, it is not about the "major, major" word because Miss Australia also had more than the "major" thing word and again, I guess the substance of the question. So that is it. I will share to you the next post the video link soon that scenario should you like. Thanks to yahoo news by the way, for it is the first one to which I knew it was Miss Universe 2010 last night and to all the source through Google search box (though it takes much of my time with it, but that is just the way how it is or else I am just like some there which did not read and directly jump into conclusion. As must as I like to have a fair judgment). ;-)
By the way, it was Miss Mexico crowned as the Miss Universe 2010 in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. And 1st runner-up was Ms. Jamaica, 2nd runner-up was Miss Australia, 3rd runner-up was Miss Ukraine and 4th runner-up was Miss Philippines.

I jumped out from bed lately though my eyes still wanted to asleep as I heard the news on our bedroom television (live at Sports Center, ESPN) that Lebron James had a meeting with Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers agents lately (of course along with his agent) aside from a Thursday (yesterday) met -up with New Jersey Nets and New York Knits. And ooh Knits made two offers for him. And so the meet-up with the other agent suitors tomorrow continues with his previous team Cleveland Cavaliers which he was under with for seven years which he garnered twice the Most Valuable Player (MVP). Along with the meet-up tomorrow is Chicago Bulls. So six agent suitors huh? Which team agent next? Orlando Magic? Ooh well just for that six agent teams, is already a bunch. He just deserves as being an "in-demand" because he plays great and yes, has a talent! Don't you think? ;)

Seven hours and 23 minutes from now, it will be New Year already in other part of the world particularly in Philippines and some. Two days ago, me and my husband watched news before went to sleep and the wildfire got my attention. It was until today that I checked the latest update and ooh the fire is still there in
Different state has it's share, the South and the Eastern part of United States(Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan, and the like) is prone to snow storm, lightning, wind. Some states has deserted place. Some International countries are prone to storm without snow, flash floods, tidal wave, etc. And California is prone to wildfire and earthquake. I hope this will be solved as soon as possible.

Have you heard the news yesterday folks? About hubby goes to sleep that we heard and watch on television about 130 Million victims of credit card owner was hacked by a famous employee that normally watch out for malicious hackers that turn out gave information to the other two(2) culprits conspired to him and mostly credit cards in 7/11 stores customers victimized. The said culprit had been into police custody now but the credit owners especially the customers of the said store I mentioned must check your credit card statement now and report if you have any doubt of it. Well, credit card companies has more of the loss than the owner but still owners got affected of the scene. Watch out! Bad peeps deserved to be punished!

Today, Americans celebrates Memorial Day. This is a legal holiday and all of government and private offices as well as schools are closed. Some stores, malls, and markets as well are.
In commemoration of the people who fought for this country to have freedom and enjoy what we have now, together with the citizens and some-- I do salute them all! Kudos to you!

playoff update, Houston Rockets defeated Los Angeles Lakers at their home court of the score 99-87 at game 4 lately played at 12:30 - 3:00 pm, their score now is 2-2, meaning Rockets has a loss of 2 games as well as won 2 games, Los Angeles Lakers as well. Am looking forward of the game 5 on Tuesday (May 12, Tuesday) at Staples Center or LA Lakers home court at 10:30 PM ET(Eastern Time) or 7:30 PM PDT(Pacific Daylight Time). By the way, Yao Ming got injured in their third game versus LAL and it takes 8 weeks to let it be cured, so no Yao Ming in the latest game, still they got it. As to recap, Derek Fisher got back in the game already after being suspended in one game as being ejected during the second game.
*** Boston Celtics defeated Orlando Magic with only one point of the score. It is so much overwhelming of the last one second that player from Celtics got it that made them won. Bravo!

It seems every season especially summer there's a fire in California of which some kind of expected already. In fact, all of the house owners need to comply home insurances in order to be ready of this said accident. This will then turn into calamity, so it's better to be ready at all times. I don't know what is really happen that this state is prone to this fire incident. I guess it's because of the weather nowadays that it's too hot and some of the bad peeps just throw cigarettes everywhere especially those arsonists that just their goal is to create fire. Those are crazy peeps. They like trouble and people will put into bad situation, crazy isn't it? I guess it's more on the weather problem (I guess) that fires could create wilderness, it's been wild! - a wild fire and it's no fun! no good! but bad (of course)! Fire fighters are always alert most importantly this season that it will be summer soon. Well then, from now on I will have to post every time there's an incident happened in this state where I am now. This serves as a record or some.
Lately, my sister called me and we talked of some kind of sisterly and friend-talk as well as she checked if I already got the package she sent me - suppose to be it will arrive of this day and yeah it did! heheh, I just got it and I love it very much not just that she's one of my best but because of the thought through the birthday card she sent me it's so meaningful and I got about to cry as I read it, whew! I love my sister much! Thanks a lot sis, I love the stuffs you sent me too and you know that. Anyway, as we talked her husband told of what's the update of the fire already, and I just said huh? I didn't know that! shame on me... huhuhuh... that am here but do not know what happened in my sorroundings t_t. so what I did after we talked was that I went to the room and watched the news together with my husband and yeah, it's on-going - I saw the fire live on tv -Santa Barbara County Burns! The homes in there got destroyed got destroyed and thirty-thousand (30,000) people already evacuated. This was the news at 12:27 pm today (May 08, 2009). Fire fighters did their very best as of now and I hope not so lots of properties damaged and most importantly the people in that county. Vice-president of Farmers Insurance, Paul Quinn said that secure the ones life first and most essential of this incident because insurance is there to take place of the belongings and homes that has been damaged. Life is too precious not to protect! By the way, Paul Quinn lives 45 miles away from the fire and fortunately away from the wild fires. I will update more of this in the long-run then for some info.

OMG! That is only I can utter after watching the news last night about the deadly virus swine flu which attacks mostly in Mexico. Over a thousand already has been the cases in there and over hundred already died. It has been reported that closing of their schools, churches, museums, and other public recreation and educational places has been continued. Giving of masks to the community has been the work of their armies nowadays to prevent the spread and any individual who's been sick will then immediately runned to the nearest hospital and checking-out if such has it. If he/she has it, they automatically quarantine such individual to protect and keep one to spread the virus he/she has and of course giving a proper medication to recover the illness. Until now the virus is still on going to spread to every individual and the spreading can be obtained through the live swine to the person and hence to the other person, so swine (pig) + person + person to another but head of the health and Homeland Security here in America said it can't be obtained in the pork we ate - it's from live swine. However, in my own opinion I will better not to eat pork nowadays. I will just wait until the deadly virus will be cleared. To continue the report, from 7 cases as to what I wrote in here before, it is now increase up to 28 cases all over here in United States of America. Mostly students came from the spring field trip in Mexico has it, so originally it is from Mexico. Some of the schools also here in America closes particularly the school in New York who has a large number of students. Some countries in the world as well like Switzerland, Europe, and etc has also now this cases. The epidemic is spreading already, so be aware folks! This is not a small case because it threaten humankind and foreseen more will be if not be threatened well and stopped. For now, the concern and expert people are now in the process of stopping it. What happened is that it seems it's a very big deal to Perez Hilton who is one of the judge of 2009 Miss United States of America pageant who handles or gives question to the contestant. Unluckily because the judge who ask her a question is a gay and it pertains to the gay personality specifically about Same-sex Marriage, that makes Miss California 2009 - Carrie Prejean a very controversial one. And it's a very big deal that some can't understand that it's just her personal opinion as it pertains to her personality. On the other hand, she represents the state so I guess that's also one reason that Perez Hilton and the opposition of her answer on the pageant is thinking. Probably they think that it's not only a personal thought but the whole state she's representing. Well then, whatever it is, she's pretty, sexy, and the First Runner-up of the said search. And that could not be changed, and now she's famous because of the incident. Lots of people congratulates her though..

As I was about to nap lately, the news on tv got my attention - it's about a deadly outbreak disease called swine flu. This influenza virus killed 68 people already in the country of Mexico and threatened to be a global disease, I hope expert doctors will find a solution of this before lots of humans got killed. As to the report, about 6 states in Mexico has this deadly outbreak and for now they close their schools, museums, sport arenas, and most of the community places. Masks were being distributed for the contagious disease will transfer human to human. The said disease is from live swine or pigs. Here in USA, there are also victims but luckily
got recovered. There are 6 in California and two people in Texas. In New York City, 75 students from Queens High School got ill and one tested has it. Hopefully they also got recovered. Praise God that there's no victims here got being medicated and recovered. By the way, the symptoms of this outbreak is just like a common flu but it's more higher, like chills, cold, runny nose, and the body temperature is 105 degress Farenheit. I just remembered the bird flu that attacts mostly people in Singapore before, it's so fearful! So folks, be aware not to contact live swines nowadays huh? I hope this will not turned into global. Let us pray for this peepz..

I have come across the chitchat to my close friend who reside in the Philippines now, who is one of my reliable source of news and current info's in there. I was shock that Ted Failon, a tv personality specifically in news area under one of the big entertainment company in there got being in suspension and suspected to be one of the murderer of his wife. It has been said that Ted Failon's wife committed suicide because of financial problem. It's not really clear what is it about, what had been verified was it's because of financial or money. So Ted Failon now is under observation because he had been alligated that he's the one killed his beloved wife. This report reminds me of Nida Blanca's case, it's just that the well-known personality had been a allegedly reported whereas in other case, the victim is the popular one itself. Which is which, and who is the one? Nida Blanca's case is until now doomed of who killed her? Is her husband? I don't know... I believe that the truth will prevail at any case soon! I hope so.

Birthday is also called a natal day meaning in commemoration of the day that we were born. Some don't like to celebrate it to avoid remembering that they're old enough and some just don't use to celebrate it. Well, am just having this reminiscing and looking forward of my birthday at the first week of May. I know am not used to celebrate my birthday mostly with a lot of foods but I do goes to church always. Am just excited because since hubby and I into our relationship, he always have something for me and am looking forward of it. heheheh.. And I know some friends surprises me too. (~_~) I suppose to post the Birthday Wish Tag for today but I changed my mine, I'll just post it on weekend together with the other tags and awards to be just with all because first come, first serve (~_~). (2) The Iraqi Journalist Muntader al-Zaidi, who shot to fame after flinging his shoe at former President George W. Bush during a press conference with their Prime Minister last December in Baghdad, ended with a relatively light three-year sentence before had given already a 3-year of punishment living behind bars. For me, whatever reasons he has, this is a just punishment or should I say is not an enough punishment that he insulted as such as like that to an honorable American President. It should be 7 years or 15 as it's first appeal then, he's lucky enough to have just light 3-years sentenced . How do you like what he's doing guys?
(3) After 2 months from the defeat of Lakers (Los Angeles team) versus Spurs (San Antonio team) for one(1) point only finally came into match again yesterday and Lakers did it for 7 points against Spurs.
